Unlike the Fūma Clan, The Hattori are despised because of their deception. They are optimistic and very cheerful, but usually it is seen through. It is a false face as most of them are taught to be cordial in greeting but their actions speak volumes of their maliciousness. As the Fūma Clan are usually hidden, the Hattori are in plain sight as they wear disguises and pretend. It is only in their compound when one of the Hattori Clan is being somewhat genuine as they wear their insignia with pride; but this does not mean one can completely trust their words.

History

Before the infamy of the capture of the demon, the Hattori were known for two things: their rivalry with the Fūma Clan and their concocted poisons left many to rot upon the battlefield. The Hattori has timeless been one to make many different poisons and chemicals that leave no traces of life. An epidemic, they are cornered to the southeastern parts of Ransei with their rivals for a reason as it is defined as “hell” to most who come upon their compound surrounded completely by the swamp lands. They are renown and hired just as much as their rivals in matters of assassination; but usually more subtle due to their method of poisoning and leaving their targets with illnesses. Although they have friction with their rivaled clan, it is built out of respect and competition with Ransei as they try to outperform for the number of contracts held by their respective clans.
